European markets quickly reversed course to trade lower Monday as the coronavirus pandemic remains in focus for investors.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 was down 0.3% in early deals, having initially opened in the black. Oil and gas stocks fell 2% after oil prices hit a 17-year low, while chemicals stocks added 0.8%.
