U.S. stock index futures point to a higher open on Monday morning.

At around 04:39 a.m. ET, Dow futures rose 198 points, indicating a positive open of more than 224.99 points. Futures on the S&P and Nasdaq were both also higher.

Wall Street ended Friday's session on a more positive note, on the back of a rebound in bond yields, which eased ongoing recession fears. Nonetheless, traders are keeping an eye on U.S.-China trade relations.

U.S. President Donald Trump said Sunday that he does not want to do business with Huawei, the Chinese tech giant. Trump said the company poses a national security threat.
