The federal appeals court in New York on Tuesday (3/12) sided with Congress and approved Congress's request to get President Donald Trump's banking account asking for sensitive personal information to be protected.

A panel of three judges of the 2nd American Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan issued a ruling. Judge Debra Ann Livingston said the lower court considered "serious questions" arising from this issue, and gave each party time to negotiate.

The court said the request of the president and children to replace the summon of the Congolese rescue commission was rejected on sufficient grounds by the judge this year.

The House of Representatives Financial Services and Intelligence Commission has asked Deutsche Bank and Capital One to send notes regarding Trump's business. Commission lawyers say they need access to bank documents to ask for help about the American political process and choose money laundering from abroad.

Trump and three challenges challenge the court.

Over the years, Deutsche Bank has bought millions of dollars for Trump real estate companies.
