Gold Prices Flat; Likely to Remain 'Excellent Hedge'

Gold prices are flat in Asian trade as worries over the coronavirus outbreak appear to ebb.

Gold is likely to continue offering an "excellent hedge" for investors and the markets may return its focus to U.S.-China trade-related headlines and on the upcoming U.S. elections, AxiCorp says. Spot gold is flat at $1,567.26/oz.
