Gold prices recover slightly in early Asian trade after falling sharply overnight.

Prices for the precious metal may remain under pressure for now, as equity markets have rebounded on receding coronavirus fears with investors having more risk-on appetite, AxiCorp says. Spot gold is up 0.1% at $1,554.64/oz.
