Gold Rises After Worst Week in 3 Years, Trade in Focus

Gold advanced after its biggest weekly drop in three years as investors parsed the latest developments in the U.S.-China trade conflict.

Spot gold +0.2% to $1,462.48/oz by 12:56pm in Singapore. Prices -3.7% last week

Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index steady after weekly gain

Other precious metals; Spot silver +0.3% to $16.8570/oz. Palladium +0.2% to $1,750.51/oz; prices -3.1% on Friday. Platinum steady at $886.95/oz; -2.5% on Friday.
