Stock-index futures edged lower Wednesday as investors remained unimpressed by developments around trade negotiations between Washington and Beijing as well as China’s latest round of stimulus measures.
Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 32 points, or 0.1%, to 25,795, while S&P 500 futures were off 3 points, or 0.1%, to 2,788.50. Nasdaq-100 were off 4 points, or 0.1%, to 7,161.50.
Stocks ended a choppy session on the negative side of unchanged Tuesday, with the Dow declining 13.02 points or less than 0.1%, to end at 25,806.63. The S&P 500 gave up 3.16 points, or 0.1%, to close at 2,789.65, while the Nasdaq Composite shed 1.21 points, or less than 0.1%, to end at 7,576.36.
