China stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil Equipment Services & Distribution, Gas, Water & Multiutilities and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Shanghai, the Shanghai Composite declined 0.10%, while the SZSE Component index fell 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the Shanghai Composite were Beijing Hualian Hypermarket Co Ltd, which rose 10.07% or 0.410 points to trade at 4.480 at the close. Meanwhile, Nanning Department Store Co Ltd added 10.05% or 0.380 points to end at 4.160 and Anhui Quanchai Engine Co Ltd was up 9.97% or 0.910 points to 10.040 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gansu Ronghua Industry Group Co Ltd, which fell 10.09% or 0.350 points to trade at 3.120 at the close. Zhejiang Feida Environmental Science & Technology Co Ltd declined 10.07% or 0.430 points to end at 3.840 and Shanghai Xinhua Media Co Ltd was down 10.07% or 0.590 points to 5.270.
