Stock-index futures in U.S. pointed slightly higher Wednesday, indicating a modest rebound from the previous session's selloff as earnings season moves into full swing and investors continue to monitor trade tensions between the U.S. and China.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 68 points, or 0.3%, to 24,458, while S&P 500 futures were up 7.10 points, or 0.3%, at 2,639. Nasdaq-100 rose 20.75 points, or 0.3%, to 6,673.50.
Stocks tumbled Tuesday as investors returned from a three-day holiday weekend, with the selloff tied to renewed gloom over the outlook for the global economy, after the International Monetary Fund cut its forecast for world growth and China reported its economy grew at the slowest pace since 1990 last year.
