U.S. stock-index futures were little changed on Thursday, suggesting indexes would open near record levels as investors continued to digest the most recent commentary from the Federal Reserve and look ahead to a speech from the Fed’s chairman.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were down 4 points to 25,713. Futures for the S&P 500 were off less than half a point to 2,860.75. Futures for the Nasdaq-100 slipped 3.75 points to 7,429.50. All three were down less than 0.1%.
Equities mostly closed lower in Wednesday’s session, with the Dow ending off 0.3% and the S&P dropping 1 point. The Nasdaq rose 0.4%.
