U.S. stocks on Thursday looked set to build on the prior session’s rally, with financial shares poised to help lead the way higher.
Bank stocks gained in premarket action, continuing their recent rise on the outlook for tighter monetary policy in both the U.S. and Europe.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 53 points, or 0.2%, to 25,193, while those for the S&P 500 index climbed 2.80 points, or 0.1%, to 2,775. Futures for the Nasdaq-100 index added 5.50 points, or 0.1%, to 7,220.50.
