Under increasing pressure from his own party, US President Donald Trump seems reluctant to tend to accept an agreement that would prevent the threat of a second government closure, but only provides a small portion of the wall funds he requested for the Mexican border he promised.
White House spokesman Sarah Sanders told reporters on Wednesday (13/2), saying that the President had not yet decided whether he would support the agreement.
"It is difficult to say with certainty whether the president will sign it or not until we know everything in it," he said. Trump said on Tuesday that more time was needed to study the plan, but he also did not expect the government to close again this weekend when funds for a portion of government offices would run out.
He gave a strong signal to plan to reap additional funds for the wall by storming the coffers of other federal offices to fulfill the important promises of his presidential campaign.
