While Florida began to recover from the traces of destruction left on Thursday, Hurricane Michael offered strong winds and rain in several states in the southeastern United States while moving northeast.
Florida Governor Rick Scott on Thursday pledged help from his government after Michael's state crashed, the strongest and strongest there, and the strongest ever to hit the rest of America. Scott and others in the storm-stricken community to stay in their homes in need of assignments.
The Federal Disaster Management Agency administrator William "Brock" Long on CNN television said Thursday "search and rescue was our mission this morning."
He added, another priority was to restore electricity to nearly 800 thousand homes and shops in Florida, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina.
The National Hurricane Center said Thursday morning that Michael was now a tropical storm because the maximum strength of the wind had dropped below the threshold for a storm.
