The pound strengthened against all its Group-of-10 peers after U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Conservative candidates pledged to vote for his Brexit deal if he wins the Dec. 12 election.
GBP/USD climbed to a two-week high. Johnson will try to winbusiness leaders to his side Monday, offering them tax cuts as an olive branch for the disruption caused by Brexit
GBP/USD gained 0.2% to 1.2926 and reached 1.2928, its highest since Nov. 4. USD/JPY was little changed at 108.82. AUD/USD was steady at 0.6817, while NZD/USD declined 0.1% to 0.6398.
