The dollar bounced back slightly on Friday morning in Asia, ahead of the G20 summit that kick off later in the day. U.S. President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping are expected to discuss trade.
The U.S. dollar index, which tracks the greenback against a basket of six major currencies, was up 0.01% to 96.685 at 10:36PM ET (02:36 GMT).
The USD/CNY remained flat at 6.9431, while the USD/JPY pair dropped 0.11% to 113.36.
Down under, AUD/USD edged up 0.04% and the NZD/USD pair also went up 0.12%. The USD/JPY lost 0.07% to 113.39.
