The pound headed for its sixth weekly loss as worries over a no-deal Brexit continued to outweigh tighter Bank of England policy, with the latest declines leaving the currency facing its longest losing streak in 3 1/2 years.

Sterling was little changed at $1.2713 on Friday, set for a loss of 0.4% on the week; that takes its decline since early July to more than 4% in its longest weekly losing streak since January 2015; the pound loses 0.1% to 89.51 pence per euro on Friday.
