Oil futures rose on Friday, finding support from uncertainty over supplies tied to political turmoil in Venezuela, but prices still finished the week lower, partly pressured by worries over energy demand.
March West Texas Intermediate oil rose 56 cents, or 1.1%, to settle at $53.69 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, with the contract down about 0.7% for the week, FactSet data show.
